The agency's president, Grant James, joined Dekalb County Insurance, Inc. in April of 2017. He quickly rose in rank and became the agency president at the end of 2022. Grant holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and has been voted the "Best of the Best" insurance agent in the area by the Smithville Review on multiple occasions. The agency's vice president, Jeff James, has more than 40 years of experience working in insurance. Jeff holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designations.
